The Houston Rockets selected him No. 7 overall.
The No. 1 overall pick of the 2007 NBA Draft, Durants was the top pick in the 2007 Draft and became the youngest player ever to play in the first round of the NBA Draft.
He was the first player in the history of the Olympics to score 100 points.
Durant was named MVP of the game at the 2004 and 2006 Summer Olympics, becoming the only player to do so in a final game in both games.
The 32-year-old also became the first NBA player to score a triple-double in a game and a combined nine points and five rebounds in a quarter.
He has made at least one 3-pointer in every Olympics, including a pair of dunks in the 2010 Beijing Olympics.

He led the NBA in 3-pointers made and 3-points made per game at 32.3 in 2012-13, when he played with the Utah Jazz.
He was the sixth player in league history to record at least 3,000 3-possession points in a season.
Durans fourth NBA triple-block was the only time in his career that he made two 3-blocks in a single game, the only NBA player ever.
The No. 8 overall pick in 2009, Durant is the fourth consecutive NBA player who made the All-Star team.
He played in five of the six games that made him a finalist.
Durantes season in Rio is the second longest of his career.
