What are your optimal thyroid levels?
I’ve heard you ask, what are you really optimizing for?
The thyroid is a gland that secretes hormones and regulates your metabolism.
It’s important to understand how you’re getting those hormones, but the best way to do that is by testing for them.
Optimizing your thyroid for thyroid cancer is often referred to as optimizing your diet, and while there are different methods to achieve that, most are the same: eat the right things.
Take in plenty of vegetables and whole grains.
Take care of your body’s natural defenses by taking in enough vitamin D and vitamin E. Eat lean protein and vegetables and plenty of fiber and omega-3s and omega to help your body fight off cancer.
I’m not going to tell you what to eat, but I will tell you how to eat.
I’m a vegan, so if you’re not a vegan like me, then you’ll want to eat more plant-based protein.

If you want to optimize for thyroid function and you’re in a good mood, you may want to consider taking a daily multivitamin and vitamin D supplement.
In the meantime, if you want the best chance of preventing or reversing thyroid cancer, I recommend doing one of these things: Reduce the amount of protein you eat, including meat and poultry.
